Rome has been immortalized in film many times, and one such movie was shot right here at the Hotel Locarno. The film was even called Hotel Locarno, and today, this excellent Rome hotel is still the perfect choice for any visit to the Eternal city. The hotel is made up of two buildings, with a pretty garden in between, where guest can enjoy breakfast or lunch. This lovely Rome hotel has been a mainstay near the Piazza del Popolo since 1925, and stepping into the lobby feels like stepping back into the building’s storied past.
