Classic and comfortable décor, a central location, affordable amenities; the Hotel Serena in Rome is a great choice for all kinds of travellers. Located very close to the central Termini Station, this budget Rome hotel has excellent access to all of the main tourist sites in the Eternal City, including the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. The guest rooms are all recently redone, adding in the modern amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Each room now offers full air conditioning with individual controls, as well as a modern marble bathroom, with either a bathtub or a shower, and a hairdryer. There are also bathrooms with shower massage available upon request. Guest rooms also feature satellite television channels, in-room safes, and a mini-bar. The décor is homey, with nice touches including parquet flooring, and a pleasing colour scheme of reds and golds. There is no hotel restaurant on site, but there is a full buffet breakfast served every morning in the pleasant and bright breakfast room. Hotel staff are also happy to help make arrangements for city tours, airport shuttles, and parking, if you require. Small pets are welcome, although there may be a small fee. Photos
