The Hotel

A charming four star Rome hotel right near the Spanish Steps, the Hotel Victoria is close to many of the city’s most popular sites. It sits right next to the ruins of an Aurelian Wall, which is thousands of years old. Steps away from the Via Veneto and all of its incredible shops, and facing the leafy green Villa Borghese, the location is ideal. This convenient Rome hotel was built right before the turn of the 20th century, and has been entirely restored to reveal its original beauty. Today, the hotel’s windows still open, to let in the fresh air. There are more than 110 guest rooms, each decorated in classic Italian style, with parquet flooring and floral bedding and draperies. Each is outfitted with adjustable climate controls, cable television and high speed internet connection. Several rooms have private balconies, looking out over the Villa Borghese. En suite washrooms have deep soaker bathtubs. In the lobby of the Hotel Victoria, there are two lounges in the lobby, where guests can comfortably rest after a long day of sight-seeing, and admire the hotel’s collection of 18th century art. As well, this boutique hotel has a charming restaurant called Belisario, which features regional cuisine. In the warm summer months, the hotel’s Bar Victoria serves drinks on the roof terrace, overlooking the Aurelian Walls. Hotel guests also have access to the nearby Roman Sport Center, and its swimming pool and fitness center.
