If you are looking for a different type of accommodations for a vacation in Italy, you can always check out apartments in Rome. Just like anywhere else, there are many people that are willing to sublet their apartment to you for the summer. There are also apartments in Rome where you can just as easily rent out a room instead of the whole apartments for a few nights up to a few weeks. There are many options for apartments in Rome, and with an apartment accommodation for your vacation you will be able to keep away from many of the other tourists. The apartments in Rome can be right in the downtown area of the city, or you could pick a quieter neighborhood that has easy access to the city with public transportation. And apartments in Rome can be much cheaper than hotel accommodations, especially if you plan to take a long holiday in Rome.
